Security Patrol Facts:
Patrols began May of 2001
The patrol is sanctioned by the Pasco
County Sheriff's Office
We are members of the Pasco County Security Patrol Association
http://www.pcspa.net/
The association works in conjunction with the Sheriff's Department
and the purpose is to share information and ideas among the various
patrols within the association
"Crime Watch Reports" are provided by the Sheriff's Department
incidents are listed for each month as they are received.
The incidents are lower than most of the neighborhoods in Pasco
county.
Our purpose is to observe and report suspicious activity to the
Sheriff's Department.
Side benefit is you get to meet your neighbors.
We are not the Sheriff's department we
take no action to confront suspicious people.
The Stagecoach Security Patrol is all volunteers.
We need your help to keep our neighborhood safe.
It only takes about 3 hours a month of your time to keep your
neighborhood patrolled.

Meetings: Third Thursday of
each month beginning in February. Meeting time will be 7:00
PM to 8:00 PM at the Community Center.
For those who have not had the
mandatory 4 hour training sessions from the Sheriff's Office
there are a few sessions coming up but the closest one will
be at Williamsburg. The is off of Bruce B. Downs near SR
56 by Publix. The session will be 8:00 PM to Noon on Saturday,
February 15. Please let me know if you are going to attend
so that I can give you better directions.
If you have signed up for the
Sheriff's Citizens Academy and have not received you approval
letter yet, just show up at the meeting next week. I spoke
with Det.Dede (he runs the academy) and he is behind on his
stuff. If you take your security patrol badge that will
indicate that he doesn't need to do a background check on you.
